Backend-focused Software Engineer building financial and operational information systems. I work primarily in Java designing REST APIs, modelling relational database schemas, and integrating payment and communication services including MPesa, SMS, and email.

  • Backend: REST API design and architecture, database schema design and optimisation, SMTP and SMS service integration, event-driven patterns, and third-party API integrations including MPesa.
