Why is this feature valuable?

In some legal problem its important to systematically redact data. I noticed that inverse redaction is only reserved for legal software.

The problem of doing only "positive redactions" is that it is similar to a black list, and one might oversee some sensitive data. This is a very severe security problem in law and OPSEC.

as a workaround you can use PyMuPDF with import fitz
and write yourself some very nice redaction scripts.
